Our journey began in 2016 with a single photo booth and a simple goal: to capture the professional-grade beauty of life’s best moments. Originally founded as a photo booth company inspired by the infectious, memorable joy of our late dog, Casey, we realized that the most beautiful photos happen in the most beautiful environments.
In 2022, we expanded our artistry by acquiring Occasions and Stems, a premier decor and floral house. Today, we have merged these two worlds into Smiling Dog Event Group. We have transitioned from being 'the entertainment' to being the architects of the entire experience—fusing high-end curated decor and silk florals with luxury photo technology to create events that are as flawless as they are unforgettable.
With roots in professional photography, we don’t just “set up a booth.” We curate interactive photo experiences using studio lighting and elite optics to ensure every guest is captured in their best light.
Through the acquisition of Occasions and Stems, we brought decades of floral and decor experience under our roof. We specialize in permanent botanicals and refined rentals that define the atmosphere of a room.

A NOTE ON OUR NAME
We kept the name “Smiling Dog” as a tribute to Casey. He represented a brand that is memorable, engaging, and deeply connected to people. While we have grown into a luxury event group, that spirit of warmth and genuine connection remains the heartbeat of everything we build.

By combining his background in professional photography with a deep expertise in permanent botanicals and floral design, he ensures that every event isn't just an occasion—it’s a curated masterpiece.
